Helpful Tips at IUB

Your enrollment date is determined by class standing and the number of credit hours completed. To find your Enrollment Appointment, go to the Student Center, and look in the blue box on the right side of the screen labeled, "Enrollment Dates". Click on "details" to access the time of day you have been assigned to access this system. You should register as close to this time as possible to ensure the best selection of courses. You may access this system any time after this date and time.

Courses can be added to your Enrollment Shopping Cart before your assigned enrollment date. You may want to create your shopping cart in advance so all you need to do is submit it once you're eligible to register.

Note: If you’ve added a course to your Shopping Cart, you will no longer be able to access it via the Class Search. The course can only be accessed from your Shopping Cart until it is removed.

Your AAR is a tool that allows you to see your current academic progress and what requirements you still need to complete. You must declare your focus area in order to effectively use your AAR. If you're unfamiliar with this tool, you can view the directions on navigating to your AAR.

Course numbers are the numbers associated with the department code. Class numbers describe the sections. For instance, in the example of SPCN-N 525 (9372), SPCN-N 525 is the course number, and the class number is 9372.
